The Lady Who Makes the Cakes
My love of cakes has been lifelong. I remember Mum baking for our special Sunday tea, typical recipes of the 70s from the Be-Ro book. My sisters and I had many a fight over who got to lick the bowl!
But the tradition went back further with my Gran and Nana’s homes both full of family tucking into homemade scones, apple cake and trifle.
So I have carried on the tradition making sweet treats for my family and friends and using some of the recipes handed down to me together with some new ones and some of my own.
And now I want to share them with you through Daisy Bakes and I hope you enjoy my cakes as much as I enjoy making them.
